Working principle
A screw conveyor is a type of conveying equipment that uses rotating spiral blades to generate axial thrust and continuously moves materials within a closed casing. The core principle is as follows: When the screw shaft rotates, the materials, under the combined effect of their own gravity and the friction with the casing walls, cannot rotate along with the blades but instead, like a nut moving along a screw, are forcibly pushed along the axial direction by the blades. This mechanism enables it to flexibly achieve horizontal, inclined or vertical conveyance. It is suitable for powdery and granular materials and can also handle viscous or easily tangled media through an axleless design.
